Default Password Reset, help.

Heya Guild Wars Guru Guys :P

I was thinking of play GW again, and installed the game/games.
Ofc, i had forgot my pass, but np, i just use the Reset Password form, when you open the game. But i have wrote my e-mail, and pressed Submit, not i am still not getting an e-mail .

I have tryed 2-3 times, and no email? Please help me out here, cause i really wanna play again, and there is no way i am gonna start all over, with the chars i have .

Anyways, i hope ya guys will help me out as soon as possible.

1. Go to plaync.com Help page

2. search the FAQ for how to reset your password (I believe you now have to have a PlayNC account.)

3. Follow the instructions. You may need to supply them with proofs of ownership.

I had the same issue Blue

Despite doing all the right stuff at the change pw AND getting an email from anet to say my pw had changed - it didn't. I had to spend a LOT of time going thru insanely detalied stuff that had nothing to do with my pw before it was resolved ( I forget details too)

In the end if anet support are sending their emails to the email addy linked to the account they will eventually see sense. If you no longer have your sign in to anet support try creating a new one just so u can make them aware of this problem.

I feel their systems are opaque and only suited to the really technically competant or anally interested in detail. But then I dont knoe enough to know how accounts get hacked

It usually emails the password on default to the email account you sign in on, so no one hacks you.

To reclaim it from another email I think you'll have to scan (or at least they asked me to) and show them pictures of all your account codes that came in your game boxes.

And to clarify use your email that you have signed up for the game under, not which every you feel confident getting a reply on otherwise it will just seem like you're trying to snatch an account.

Yea okay i see..

Thanks for all the support.

Petra Arkanian, i have also sent them a support ticket now, and are talking with them. I also needed to sent all these data i have forgot, so let's see if i can get back my account..
Last thing they wrote in the ticket was:
Dear Alexander,

Thank you for providing us with this information.

We are escalating your ticket to a Senior Account Support Representative to further assist you. Someone will contact you as quickly as possible...

That was yesterday, so, i hope they well hurry op s;
